TAG Heuer Has Returned to The Principality to Mark The 80th Edition of The F1 Monaco Grand Prix

The Swiss Luxury Watchmaker hosted a glamourous event on the Jacques Cartier ship celebrating its long standing partnership with the Principality of Monaco on 27th May 2023 alongside partner Oracle Red Bull Racing.

TAG Heuer, the Swiss luxury watchmaker and official partner of the F1 Monaco Grand Prix, hosted a beautiful celebration to mark the 80th edition of the prestigious event. The venue was the iconic Jacques Cartier ship, moored in the picturesque Port of Monaco, where guests were treated to a night of unforgettable entertainment. The festivities kept them engaged throughout the night, creating once again a memorable, avant-garde TAG Heuer experience.

Many of TAG Heuer’s friends and VIPs were present such as Brand ambassador Wi Ha Jun but also tennis legend Maria Sharapova, actors Tom Holland, Louis Patridge, model Sara Sampaio, French rapper Hatik and boxer Conor McGregor.

The festivities began with an amazing cocktail reception, where attendees, had the opportunity to chat with the highly skilled Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers, Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez and Daniel Ricciardo. They shared their reflections on the day’s qualifying session and offered exclusive insights into the upcoming race, amplifying the excitement for the following day.

As tradition wants it, the friends of the brand and most promising drivers in Formula 1 were gifted by Frédéric Arnault exceptional pieces that celebrate their remarkable achievements. Max Verstappen received a personalized version of the latest TAG Heuer release – the exclusive TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Skeleton dial timepiece in blue. This extraordinary watch features a captivating skeleton dial with luminescent details, including Verstappen’s iconic number “1” in striking red. The caseback, inscribed with “One of one”, signifies its exclusivity for Formula 1’s number one driver, with two stars symbolizing Verstappen’s championship wins. For Pérez, TAG Heuer offered the custom turquoise.

TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Skeleton dial watch. With a black skeleton dial and vibrant turquoise accents, this timepiece represents Pérez’s resilience and features his initials “SP” and the silhouette of the Monaco racetrack on the caseback. The engraved date “29.05.22” commemorates Pérez’s previous Monaco Grand Prix victory, while the inscription of his motto, “Never give up”, reflects his indomitable spirit as a racing driver.

TAG Heuer’s partnership with the F1 Monaco Grand Prix celebration culminated with a breathtaking performance by the legendary Australian singer and songwriter Kylie Minogue, who captivated the audience with an unforgettable show as the dazzling lights of the Monaco habour sparkled in the background.

The festivities kept going with sets from world-renowned DJs. Zack Bia kicked off the party with his electrifying mix of music, energizing the crowd and setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
