The event: Tower Fashion Eleganza 2023 (TFE)

In conjunction with Hari Malaysia and World Skyscrapers Day, a grand record breaking fashion show will be held on the 9th September 2023 at the Sky Deck, showcasing the works of 15 top-notch Malaysian designers including Rizman Ruzaini, Bon Zainal, Radzuan Radziwill, Carven Ong, Fizi Woo, Rasta Rashid, Kalima, Leslie Variyan and many more.
Paraded by 75 of the country’s most sought-after models, the fashion designs will feature the designers’ collection that combines various elements which include modern, traditional, stylish, innovative and of course, elegance of the highest order. If all goes according to plan, this runway show will actually be the highest fashion show ever actualized and successfully carried out in Malaysia, confirmed by the CEO of Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR), Jwan Heah.
Her Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin will also be gracing this historical event as it coincides with the celebration of Hari Malaysia.

The show: Freed Ballet

Prepare yourself for a night of elegance as the best alumni at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet will be performing for the first time in Kuala Lumpur. FreedBallet will be honouring the brightest achievements of history’s finest art creators, such as Tchaikovsky' "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", and many more, to be accompanied by piano virtuosos Dmitrii Nekhoroshev and Aysylu Salyakhova.

The music: A tribute to Sudirman
The legendary Sudirman’s piercing tenor voice and dynamic style were iconic, topping the charts in the Asian region during his lifetime. His open-air concert on Jalan Chow Kit in 1986 drew an audience of 100,000 people.
The MPO pays tribute to the life and music of the multi-faceted and beloved artist, including award-winning hits such as Salam Terakhir, Warisan and Hujan, and many more. Held in conjunction with Hari Malaysia, this special concert will end with a groundbreaking hologram showcase of the artist, for the first time by the MPO at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS.

The Sports: KL Open 2023

Malaysia's biggest tennis sports championship, KL Open 2023 will open from 29 August to 3 September 2023, located at the National Tennis Center, Jalan Sultan Abdul Halim and the Titiwangsa Sports Complex Tennis Court.
In the last edition, Koay Hao Sheng from Malaysia also booked participation in this tournament. This native of Perlis wants to maintain the winning momentum from KL Open 2022 to the latest by winning several national and international championships. Hao Sheng is the 'favourite' player in this edition. KL Open 2023 this time also will be involving Sukma Kuala Lumpur players such as Darrshan, Haydee, Izran, Izmal, Miasara and Nao Phang for the Men's & Women's Open event in preparation for Sukma 2024 in Kuching, Sarawak.

The Play: JEBAT

Don’t miss this eye-opening retelling of a classic tale.
Set in a post-apocalyptic Malaysia where constant war and strife abound, the story follows the life and tragic death of JEBAT. It unfolds the plight of Hang Tuah’s loyalty to his king as opposed to Jebat’s desire for freedom, love and respect. The tragedy culminates in a heart-breaking scene where the two protagonists reluctantly fight to the death.
While there are many stories on Hang Tuah, this is likely the first English language stage production in recent history focusing on JEBAT. Typically, the historic Tuah-Jebat duel zooms in on the idea of betrayal but this new work explores a different point of view.
The Actors Studio’s biggest production for 2023 and certainly its highlight of the year boasts almost 40 performers on stage performing to specially composed live music with a mix of silat and mixed martial arts battle scenes, amazing sets and costumes, multimedia design and more.
