Elegance rules at Giorgio Armani Menswear FW2425 Fashion Show

Fluid cuts and effortless elegance were also the mantra of Armani’s show.

Italian luxury fashion House Giorgio Armani has excellent track-record of portraying well-dressed men at their best, injecting its near 50-year experience into every garment design. The brand never limits itself, showing season after season that it can deliver something new while staying true to its elegant ethos. While its Spring/Summer 2024 runway was dominated by elegant ethos, Spring/Summer 2024 sees Giorgio Armani return to refinement and nonchalance.

Men’s fashion must not be an object of desire at any cost. It must be a nice suit, a beautiful jacket, a lovely fabric, a perfect colour and nothing more, or else we descend into carnival.

The 89-year-old Italian maestro projected on the runway’s backdrop, models showed off the Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection in the intimate setting of his historic headquarters in Via Borgonuovo. Staying true to his DNA of relaxed chic, he presented refined trousers, and half-length unbuttoned coats that allowed freedom of movement.

For next winter, shapes have enlarged “to provide even more ease and fluidity”, he said. His signature offerings – unstructured jackets with no shoulder pads or lining – were presented in a variety of styles: for a dandy with a vest and pleated trousers, or in a sporty version with cargo pants tucked into boots.

Miguel Ángel Silvestre – Actor known for his roles in the series Narcos and Money Heist, starring in upcoming miniseries Lucio's Treasure.

Michael Evans Behling – Actor, known for his role in the TV series All American and face of Armani beauty.

Christopher Briney – Actor, known for his role in the TV series The Summer I Turned Pretty, and face of Armani beauty.

Jannis Niewöhner – Actor, starred in Ridley Scott's Napoleon biopic and will be on the cast of series The New Look on Apple TV in 2024.

Ed Skrein – Actor and rapper, in 2023 he appeared in the Netflix miniseries All the Light We Cannot See, nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or TV Movie.

Desmond Tan – Singaporean actor, will star in the series Moments in 2024.

Lorenzo Viotti – Conductor, will conduct the Filarmonica della Scala in Milan on 22, 23 and 24 February.

Tancredi – Singer, having participated in Amici in 2021, he made it to the finals of Sanremo Giovani 2023 with the song Perle.

Raul – Japanese musician.
