A Guide to the gorgeous Kennedy Family
The end of the Camelot? Not so soon. Meet the new generation of the Kennedys...
By Culture Editor
The Kennedys are perhaps one of the world's most iconic families, beginning even before John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy captured the nation’s hearts and minds in 1960s. Every year between 1947 to 2020, at least one Kennedy family member has held federal elective office. The legend is that no Kennedy has lost an election in Massachusetts in 130 years.
While most have gone into politics and public service, they’ve also entered the popular cultural imagination as well. The millenials Kennedy, for example are taking the social scene by storm, including Patrick Schwarzenegger dated Miley Cyrus, Conor Kennedy dated Taylor Swift, and Kyra Kennedy parties with Princess Olympia of Greece.
Despite America's "Royal" family experienced numerous tragedies, they’ve also made more significant contributions to society than the celebrities; namely Kardashians, Jenners, Hiltons—name any name—combined. Many of the Kennedy families have kept low profiles as they attended prestigious colleges like Harvard, Yale and London School of Economics. But even as they kept their heads down, the family name remained majestic.
Here, we take a deeper look at one of America’s most iconic families.
