Tower Fashion Eleganza 2023 - the highest altitude fashion show ever held in Malaysia

Tower Fashion Eleganza 2023 (TFEKL) '23 successfully transitions from concept to reality, soaring against the backdrop of the city's nighttime skyline and setting two remarkable records in the process.

The inaugural event, TFEKL23 presented the creations of 15 esteemed Malaysian designers, among them Rizman Ruzaini, Datuk Radzuwan Radziwil, Carven Ong, Bon Zainal, Fizi Woo, Calvin Thoo, Kashfi Zulkufli, Rasta Rashid, Kalima, Ashley Kapas, Kakeebatik, Masterpiece by Masrina Abdullah, Dato Raymond Jolly & Dato Aaron Jolly, Evita Mairesse, and Leslie Variyan.

The event was honored by the presence of Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin. Prominent dignitaries who attended the event include Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman, RTM Head of Broadcasting, Miss Malaysia World, Ms. Saroop Roshi, and Dato Seri Alha, Malaysia’s prominant prominent cosmetics entrepreneur.

The Sky Deck of Menara Kuala Lumpur is the only attraction that offers the highest 360-degree open view in Kuala Lumpur. Thus making it an iconic and unique tower in Malaysia.

During the event, two records were simultaneously achieved: one for 'the highest altitude fashion show' and another for 'the highest altitude fashion show cosmetic makeover' led by TFE's official beauty partner, Alha Alfa Cosmetics.

This star-studded lineup featured more than 75 of the nation's most in-demand models. Renowned for their refined aesthetics, impeccable craftsmanship, inventive designs, technical expertise, impressive track records, and distinct perspectives, these designers showcased collections that seamlessly blend modern, traditional, innovative, and stylish elements, all while embracing the epitome of elegance.

Fashion designer Kashfi Zulkufli known for his traditional, classic or timeless design aesthetics showcased six designs using beautiful exquisite fabrics and elaborate embellishments in his TFE collection themed ‘The Lost Of Maharani’.

Carven Ong, known for sophisticate couture pieces transported the audience into a realm where fashion and nature intertwine, where the wild becomes sophisticated, and where the runway becomes a canvas for the rainforest's vibrant palette. "Flora & Fauna" by Carven Ong Couture took all on an exhilarating journey, where each outfit tells a story of the natural wonders that inspire us all.

Creating another history as the first fashion show ever to be given the honour to be shown ‘live’ on TV by several RTM channels and media platforms, TFEKL23 is ideated by Bon Zainal Harun, Malaysian’s menswear maestro and organised by Bon Fashion Legacy and Nuunaa Management, with GC as the official digital magazine partner.

The event which was aired ‘live’ on RTM is also made possible attributable to dynamic collaboration with Menara Kuala Lumpur, Tourism Malaysia, DBKL, and KL Hop on Hop Off. The event was enhanced with the support of sponsors such as Alha Alfa Rich Legacy, Batik Air, Ceres Jewels, Blackred & Co.
