KUALA LUMPUR, 27 September 2026. Classic car lovers gathered on Sunday for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive Kuala Lumpur, a celebration of style, community and men's health.

Hosted locally by Doplohtiga under Ahmad Zaidi Masri, the drive began at Rumah Kayu 1928 by Doplohtiga in Kuang, Selangor. Participants assembled at 8:00 AM, with the flag-off at 9:00 AM. The route ended at Venturi Motors' new venue at Longhaus in Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur.

This year marks the sixth year Doplohtiga has hosted the Kuala Lumpur chapter, which has run since 2021. The organising team reported approximately 100 registered participants and USD 1,000 raised for Movember. The event also highlighted cancer awareness locally alongside the National Cancer Society Malaysia.

The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive is an international motoring event where drivers and passengers dress dapper and take eligible classic cars on the road. Funds raised through the official drive support Movember's work in prostate cancer and men's mental health.

"Beautiful classic cars bring people together, but the reason we gather is much more important," said Ahmad Zaidi Masri of Doplohtiga. "We hope this drive encourages more open conversations about men's health and reminds people to check in on the men in their lives."

At the destination, Dr Madiha Fuad shared a message on men's mental health. Venturi Motors collaborated on this year's drive and sponsored the venue, and its new space at Longhaus welcomed participants for a relaxed gathering that continued the conversation. The organisers extended their thanks to Venturi Motors founder Lawson Lee for his support.
