In a resounding affirmation of British heritage and sovereign distinction, Aston Martin, the iconic marque synonymous with elegance and performance, has been formally bestowed with a Royal Warrant by Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III—a milestone of regal significance in the brand’s 112-year legacy.

This historic moment marks the first time Aston Martin has received a Royal Warrant directly from the reigning British monarch, a gesture that elevates its already distinguished relationship with the Crown to newfound nobility. The new Royal Arms of King Charles III, meticulously designed and recently released by the College of Arms—an institution as steeped in tradition as Aston Martin itself—will now adorn the marque’s identity, symbolising a timeless bond between sovereign grace and British automotive craftsmanship.

“Our appointment by His Majesty represents a truly proud and historic moment for Aston Martin, reinforcing the longstanding and esteemed relationship we hold with the Royal Family,” said Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin.

The relationship between Aston Martin and the Royal Family is not merely ceremonial—it is deeply personal. The marque’s royal journey began in 1954 when Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, took delivery of a three-litre Lagonda. It continued with the Duke of Kent acquiring a DB2/4 following Aston Martin’s legendary triumph at the 1955 Monte Carlo Rally. Yet perhaps most emblematic is His Majesty’s cherished DB6 Volante, a symbol of continuity, sophistication, and a deeply-rooted personal connection that spans decades.

Indeed, King Charles III has been a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club since 1973, and the marque previously held a Royal Warrant from 1982 as a Motor Car Manufacturer and Repairer to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.
