Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak, The Yang di- Pertua Negeri of The State of Penang, graced this prestigious award ceremony as the recipient of the CHT International Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

In his welcoming address, Founding President Dato’ Chng Huck Theng remarked, “The CHT International Awards is more than just an award ceremony. To date, the CHT International Awards have honoured over 140 deserving individuals and organisations, including foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, statesmen, and ministers still serving in office. This year, we are privileged to present the CHT Life-time Achievement Award to TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi, the Head of State of Penang. Honouring TYT Tun reflects the commitment to recognising and honouring the best and highlights the unique distinction of the CHT International Award splatform.”

Farisha Asmadi, the young and talented singer, actress and host, captivated the audience with her powerful vocals with her performance during the dinner. As with every award ceremony, Dato Chng conducted a silent auction, with part of the proceeds going to charity. The auction garnered significant support from friends for exclusive items from The House of Ceres, Vivo Malaysia, The Hour Glass, Le Cordon Bleu Sunway, and specially designed men’s dinner jackets from Bon Fashion Legacy by Bon Zainal Harun. 

The evening culminated in a spectacular dance performance by the highly accomplished dancer and performer, Chng Tian Ying. Known for her exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication, Tian Ying made a special trip back to Kuala Lumpur from Melbourne, Australia, specifically to choreograph and perform the gala's finale. Her intricate choreography and movements brought the event to a memorable close.

Four (4) CHT International Outstanding Achievers Awards 2024 were presented to the international recipients from Indonesia, Cambodia, France, and Malaysia, in recognition of their remarkable dedication to and success in supporting the local and international communities. Eleven (11) CHT Excellence Awards 2024 to national leaders and organisations from various sectors, including education, leadership, metal recycling, fashion, furniture, dental, palm oil machinery, printing and packaging, food and beverage, CEO coaching, and performing artiste. Additionally, this year’s edition also recognised two (2) visionary NextGen leaders in the CHT Emerging Entrepreneurs Award.
