From March 3rd to 29th, 2025, guests are invited to embark on a gourmet adventure that honors the richness and variety of traditional Malaysian flavors, reimagined with an elegant twist.

A Feast of Authenticity and Nostalgia

This carefully curated buffet showcases a wide array of both local and international delicacies. Each dish created to evoke cherished memories of classic flavors. The standout feature of the buffet is the Selangor Cuisine Corner, offering iconic regional specialties like Nasi Ambeng, Sambal Taun, Wadai Kipeng, and Bahulu Kemboja. Supported by Tourism Selangor and in line with the Visit Malaysia 2026 vision, this initiative honors Malaysia's rich culinary heritage while introducing diners to its distinctive regional gems.

Collaboration with FGV Holdings Berhad

Enhancing the appeal of the buffet is a special collaboration with FGV Holdings Berhad, spotlighting their premium Saji Aroma Rice. Grown locally on 800 hectares of fertile land in Sekinchan, this fragrant rice is Malaysia’s first and only home-grown variety. Beyond its remarkable quality and fragrance, the partnership represents a commitment to sustainability and community empowerment. FGV’s efforts have notably improved the livelihoods of local farmers, with household incomes increasing from RM4,500 to RM7,300 in 2024, highlighting the positive impact of supporting local agriculture. By featuring this rice, Charcoal Restaurant not only enhances the dining experience but also supports a meaningful cause.
