The King of Malaysia celebrates the success of Menara Merdeka 118

The King of Malaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, praised the newly opened Menara Merdeka 118 as a symbol of the country's success. The 678.9-meter tower, owned by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), is the second tallest in the world. During his speech, His Majesty emphasized the tower's significance in reflecting Malaysia's progress and achievements. The construction of Menara Merdeka 118 was made possible by the efforts of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), a major national investment institution. In addition to the tower, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah also commended PNB's initiative to restore the historic Merdeka Stadium to its original form as it was in 1957.
